six, five, four…

Only six days until Europe! I’m going to visit the France, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Austria for three weeks. I’m so excited! I’m going with a group of high school students (9th-12th) from across the country. For my European visitors—if I have any—let me know what I should pack clothing wise. I’m not going to have access to a washing machine, unless you count a hotel sink, and I guess we’re going to be walking around a lot. I also won’t have any access to a computer the whole trip so I hope I don’t lose a lot of hits.

I’ve been pretty busy the last couple of days. On Saturday, we went shopping for things I still needed for my trip and went to a family friend’s house but it was pretty boring but we left early-ish. Today, my mom performed a bharatanatyam dance and then we went to three-year-old’s birthday party. It was fun, I guess, my whole Indian posse was there; a 9-year-old and 11-year-old (brothers), and a 12-year-old boy. We hung out in one of their cars and then all the men moved to another house, which was consequently the brothers’ house, to play table tennis so we played Wii tennis there. We then decided to do something more active and decided that we wanted to play real tennis. We played tennis at the recreation center for a while and when we came back to the original house, everyone was back there and leaving then. That’s how these Indian things are, especially when three of the four of us live on the same street, they last for six hours.

Well, I’m going to get myself some orange juice and possibly dinner, I’m starving!
